KTM Track removal begins. Pictures 2

Demolition workers began cutting up the steel rails and digging up 
the railway sleepers at the Bukit Timah KTM railway station.

The contractors expect to remove about 1km of the steel rails each day, but it will take longer to excavate the gravel - nearly 1m deep in some areas - and remove the sleepers and tracks.
