Taib Mahmud the Sarawak Chief Minister made this boast on May 13th 2010 at a by-election speech to a long house audience at Rh Johnaton Juna, Sg Aup, 20min drive out of Sibu city center. A question is: will he use his great wealth to develop Sarawak's vast poverty striken interiors, or his money actually derive from exploiting the rich natural resources from there, leaving the areas more impoverished than before?
